Went a couple weekends ago, but have to leave a review! This place is a must try!! All you can eat menu is fresh and tasty, and the service is fast and friendly! My partner loves sake so this place was on our list, they had a great selection and awesome mixed drinks (under 10 dollars for a martini? Yes please!!) at the bar as well. Staff was happy and attentive. I've been to some AYCE sushi bars locally where servers seem like they are mad you are there and want to try everything, not Shokudo! The people who helped us were happy to chat and answer questions, all the sushi is prepared right at the bar where you can see it, all the kitchen food is so yum!! It was very packed when we got there, but we were sat soon and our food came out fast. Would recommend a reservation if you're coming with a group, we saw a couple groups sat quickly who had called ahead. The only caution I would give is this time of year, don't sit near the door if you can avoid it, I was so cold! But they did have lovely holiday decor and we two felt so welcomed and happy to be there. Can't wait to go back.

I've been coming here on and off for a couple years now. I believe the place sold a couple years ago, but whatever challenges they had a while ago, they have sorted out now. This place is fantastic. In my most recent visit I ordered a few rolls, but mostly nigiri sushi. The quality of the fish is outstanding and it is cut well. By far the best all-you-can-eat sushi place I've been to in CT, and I've been to most in Hartford, Middlesex and New Haven counties. About a year ago I stopped coming because my experiences back then weren't so great-- however the difference is light night and day. Definitely recommend this place now, they are doing everything right.

The food was awesome. We came here because it was all you can eat and we were looking for another AYCE sushi bar. The food was good compared to our usual spot. The plum sake with cinnamon was an awesome touch. The green tra ice cream was on point too!

This place is fantastic! We've been twice now and our last trip they had Uni (Sea Urchin) as a special menu item. It was my first time trying it and it was absolutely delicious, so creamy and bursting with flavor.

their sashimi is so good!! as is the rest of the menu, there is a wide variety of options. also the plating is very pretty, they are incredibly conscientious of how they serve the food to you. they make sure your water is filled and ask if you need anything else, but they don't hover or overwhelm you. the atmosphere is nice and cozy and the employees are very polite. i like coming here after work to unwind and enjoy good food. 10/10 experience, i will continue to give my support!
